I don't care if it's a sad goodbye or a bad good-bye, but when I leave a place I like to know I'm leaving it. If you don't, you feel even worse.
悲しい別れだろうが嫌な別れだろうが、どこかを去るときにはそこを去るんだって実感が欲しい。じゃなきゃ、余計に嫌な気持ちになるからさ。

I'd never yell "Good luck!" at anybody. It sounds terrible, when you think about it.
